RESPONSIBILITY

At Mahala, responsibility sits alongside design. Our textiles are produced using natural fibres including linen, wool, silk and Better Cotton Initiative BCI cotton, selected for performance, longevity and reduced environmental impact, with traceability prioritised wherever possible.

Production takes place in the UK and internationally in carefully selected mills and workshops chosen for technical excellence and responsible environmental management. Energy-efficient processes, considered waste handling and advanced water filtration systems form part of our oversight.

We are working towards the introduction of GOTS-certified organic materials and long-term B Corp certification. Mahala also supports Charity: Water, contributing to clean water projects globally as an extension of our commitment to responsible practice.
