At Mahala, responsibility sits alongside design. We work with natural fibre linen, wool, silk and Better Cotton Initiative BCI cotton, chosen for quality, longevity and lower environmental impact. Where possible, we prioritise traceability.

Our fabric is produced in the UK, Europe and India with a small number of trusted mills and workshops, selected for technical skill and responsible practice, with careful attention to energy, waste and water.

We support Charity: Water, contributing to clean water projects as part of a wider commitment to responsible practice.
